Cancellation Policy:
The appointment time that you schedule is designated specifically for you to receive your licensed massage therapist’s undivided attention and individualized care. We respectfully ask that you provide us with a 24 hour notice for any schedule changes or cancellation requests. Failure to do so will result in a $25 fee that must be paid before we will schedule a future appointment for you. We do send out reminder texts about your appointment the day before you are scheduled. Please confirm those messages. Please understand that when you cancel or miss your appointment without providing a 24 hour notice we are often unable to fill the appointment time. This causes inconvenience and loss of income for your massage therapist and also means that our other clients have missed an opportunity to receive the care that they need. Please be courteous.
We understand that emergencies can arise and illnesses do occur at inopportune times. If you have a fever, a known infection (viral or bacterial), any other known symptoms of COVID-19, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours prior to your appointment time, we request that you cancel your session. Inclement weather may also result in the need for late cancellations. We will do our best to give advanced notice if we are closing or need to cancel due to bad weather and we ask that you do the same. Please do not risk your own safety trying to make your appointment.
Late Arrival Policy:
We request that you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow time to fill out any required paperwork, use the restroom, as well as answer any intake questions your massage therapist may have. We understand that issues may arise that cause you to be late for your appointment. We ask that you call to inform us if this ever occurs so that we can do our best to accommodate you. Appointment times are reserved for each client, so oftentimes we cannot exceed that reserved time without making the next client late. For this reason, arriving after your appointment time may result in a loss of time from your massage so that your session ends at the scheduled time. Full service fees will still be charged even for shortened sessions due to late arrivals. In return we will do our best to be on time. If we are unable to do so we will add time to your session to make up for our late arrival or adjust the service charge accordingly. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, it will be at the discretion of the massage therapist as to whether they will be able to keep your appointment or need reschedule you for another time.
Payment Policy:
Payment is due at the time of service. If you would like to use your HSA account please note that some HSA credit cards are accepted and some are not. This is up to the insurance carrier. However we are happy to provide you with receipts that you can submit to your HSA for possible reimbursement. We do not guarantee payment from insurance. Please contact your insurance provider prior to your appointment to ensure reimbursement. Payment method must be check or credit card if you plan on submitting it to your insurance. Please note we do charge a 4% service fee if paying by card.
Inappropriate Behavior Policy:
Massage therapy is for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. There is absolutely no sexual component to massage therapy whatsoever. Any insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request otherwise will result in immediate termination of your session and a refusal of any and all services in the future. You will be charged the full service fee regardless of the length of your session. Depending on the behavior exhibited we may also file a report with the local authorities if necessary. Treat your massage therapist with respect and dignity and you will be treated the same in return.
